ABC Paris visits the UNESCO headquarters

On November 6th, ABC Paris (ex ABSParis) organized an educational visit to UNESCO in Paris for a group of 25 students. Coming from 10 different countries, the students had a unique opportunity to explore the vital work of this international organization in education, science, and culture.
Why the UNESCO headquarters?
During this learning excursion, led by Professor Sangwon PARK, the students were introduced to UNESCO’s initiatives aimed at promoting peace and sustainable development through international cooperation. They also gained insight into the significance of the organization’s mission in a world where global solidarity is essential.
For these young individuals, some of whom aspire to careers in sustainable development or international commerce, this immersive experience provided an invaluable glimpse into the inner workings of a top-tier organization, its challenges, and its positive impact. This visit will inspire them to contribute to a more just future through their academic and professional pursuits.
Additionally, the educational visit allowed them to develop a broader perspective on their role within the international community while reinforcing their motivation for future career paths. Inspired by UNESCO’s ideals of peace, diversity, and cooperation, the students leave with a deeper understanding of their future aspirations and a renewed commitment to making a meaningful contribution to global society.
