Summer in Paris is an unforgettable experience! As one of the most visited cities in the world, it offers a perfect blend of culture, history, and charm. With plenty of free time between your classes, it’s the ideal moment to dive into everything the city has to offer.
Start with iconic landmarks like Notre-Dame Cathedral, of course, but don’t stop there—Paris is full of hidden treasures. Marvel at the stunning stained-glass windows of Sainte-Chapelle, or wander the city streets to uncover lesser-known gems like the flower and bird market, l’Oasis d’Aboukir—a striking vertical garden tucked away on a city building—the Great Mosque of Paris with its peaceful garden, or the quaint village-like neighborhood of La Campagne à Paris, where you’ll feel like you’ve stepped out of the city entirely.
Your summer wouldn’t be complete without exploring Paris’ world-class museums. While the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay are must-sees, the city also boasts incredible spots for lovers of modern and contemporary art—head to the Pompidou Center or the Palais de Tokyo for a fresh perspective. If you’re in the mood for something more offbeat, check out the Choco-Story chocolate museum, the Open-Air Sculpture Museum, the Museum of Mineralogy, or even the Paris Sewer Museum!
